Ashley Lambert on Pick Me nomination – Rami and Kara at Pick Me! Floral and Event Design Studio in Winter Park are simply awesome!!! I was a Southern bride who was on a mission to have a REAL Winter Wedding (complete with snow)!!! I’m so lucky that Rami picked up the phone the day that I called. I clicked with her right away. Pick Me! was so patient with my needs and requests. We immediately planned a weekend trip to Winter Park and Rami had every everyone scheduled to meet us. I can’t put in to words how awesome Rami and Kara are, but I will try. When it came time for me to fly in for the wedding, Rami was ready and waiting to start assisting from the minute I landed. You can say that all wedding planners cover the details, but I can say that Pick Me! goes beyond the details. When I said, “I have a wedding logo..”, Rami began listing places we could use it. When I called and said I was having an issues getting Second Line Handkerchiefs for our Mardi Gras Reception Exit, Rami asked “What is a Second Line Handkerchief?” and proceeded to have a local person make the handkerchiefs for my reception. What could you follow up with that to make it any better, Pick Me! giving me those handkerchiefs as a gift!! When I called and said that I had a second wedding dress, they went to work to find a way to display my family heirloom dress. It was never about the details, it was always about the detail’s details!
Pick Me! also works with the best team. Their experience has partnered them with some of the best vendors around. After a few cross country phone calls, they had suggestions on THE BEST vendors for my wedding and I loved every one of them. It was a great experience to work with a team that was so happy to work together.
Another wonderful trait about Pick Me! is that Rami and Kara go beyond the wedding. Rami met us the day after the wedding for photographs on the mountain. She even worked as the photographer’s assistant! Two days after the wedding, Pick Me! included us in the local parade and Winter Festival. When I say “us”, I mean my family and wedding party!!
I can’t imagine our wedding with anyone other than Pick Me! Floral and Event Design. I felt so at ease working with Rami and Kara. I knew they would handle everything. I can’t wait to return to Winter Park and have them plan my (next) wedding when Chad and I renew our vows!!!

Larry and I got married at Devils Thumb Ranch two years ago and Rami literally threw together in two weeks the greatest small intimate wedding ever. At first we were going to just sign on the dotted line and be done with it, but then it grew from 2 guests to an entire 4 guests and we had to do something a little more special. Larry’s friends were coming in from Bainbridge Island, Washington to help us celebrate, so I needed help and quick. Rami did a great job and we still say it was the best wedding ever. Small but memorable and lovely in every way. We had a blast. The best thing, two years later, we’re still married!

Pick Me florists designed all the bouquets and center pieces for my wedding last July. I don’t know much about flowers, and the only input I had was I wanted lots of bright colors. When I saw the flowers on my wedding day, I was just thrilled! They turned the Club Car restaurant into an amazing summer garden. I couldn’t believe how gorgeous they all were, I didn’t want to put my bouquet down all day! The other awesome bonus was how long my flowers lasted after the big day.
