Designer Dress & Peacock Feathers

Paul & Megan

Phipps Mansion

One of the most beautiful venues here in Colorado  is Phipps Mansion.  Phipps Mansion was built in 1933 and sits on 5 1/2 acres of landscaped grounds.  The mansion is over 33,000 square feet and has more than 70 rooms.  It is decorated with European influence and has served as a venue for weddings, corporate events for many years.

Andy & Angie Wood from A&A Photography recently did a wedding there and here is what they had to say about the day!

Paul and Megan were married at the Phipps Mansion in the back garden with the quartet playing from the doorway of the living room and their guests sitting amongst the plush green grass, small fountains and breathtaking flowers. Paul and Megan had beautiful vows and after the ceremony the guests made their way to huge back patio of the mansion for the reception.   Paul and Megan’s wedding had beautiful details and colors!  Their color scheme was simple, blue, purple and green;  all based around peacock leathers she found when planning her wedding. Megan stood silently by herself before the wedding ceremony was to begin…

Megan’s bouquet was made of  white and purple peonies and Anemone…

The Groom and Groomsmen wore black pin striped suits and purple vests with small boutonnières with small green flowers and peacock feathers….

The table at the front of the ceremony was covered in a purple tablecloth and drenched in flowers!
