A Castle Wedding In Colorado

Matt & Jennifer

Dunafon Castle

Every bride and groom dream of the perfect wedding.   The perfect dress.  Perfect venue, the perfect wedding vendors, and perfect weather.

Matt and Jennifer did everything a bride and groom can do to ensure their perfect wedding.   They had their perfect venue, some of the finest Colorado wedding professionals, and where surrounded by their friends and family.

What Matt and Jennifer didn’t have was a way to control the perfect weather.   The blowing wind during their outdoor ceremony quickly turned to a steady rain no sooner than the ceremony was over and sealed with it’s symbolic kiss.

Brides and grooms should take a queue from Matt and Jennifer.   There will be imperfections in your wedding, unexpected events and uncontrollable circumstances.   The perfect wedding isn’t so much from trying to control these unique elements to your day but the perfect wedding is in how the bride and groom deal with these items.  By embracing these unique turns as part of your wedding day your memories will be of a perfect wedding day.

Once sure that their guests where all still enjoying the day despite the precipitation they continued with their schedule of activities.  Instead of canceling their photos Matt and Jennifer made the weather a part of them, embracing the uniqueness of their perfect wedding day.

Soon after dinner the rain cleared in time for the cutting of their cake and their first dance in front of the castle.

Sometimes simple is the most elegant way to go….Jennifer used pink and white throughout  their wedding

One of the things I loved when I saw this wedding was the pile of donuts & Rock Candy with the wedding cake!
